Trivia Night with the Foundation

The Fort Calhoun Community Schools Foundation and FCYSO co-organized and hosted a Trivia Night Fundraiser on January 7th. Ten teams of eight competed to determine who knew the most trivia (or guessed the best!). Teams chose themes, dressed up in costumes, decorated their tables, and brought snacks and drinks. Some fun themes included the cast of the Golden Girls, Eighties Mullets, Guess Who Game Show, Christmas, Eighties, Emojies, & Busch Light. The “Quizness up Front, Party in the Back” team (think mullets), won second place, and Principal Nick Wemhoff's team of “We’re Just Guessing” won first place. Mike Monday, of Monday Night Games, was the host, and HAL teacher Mike Mallette served as the "Brain" (teams could bid money to add him to their team as an extra player).

Bluffs Family Chiropractic, Mancuso Dental, Gochanour Construction, Croker Huck Law Firm, and an anonymous donor sponsored the event, allowing for all proceeds to benefit the Foundation and the FCYSO girls volleyball program. The $2224.50 that the Foundation received will go towards funding the After School Applied Sciences Program. A big "thanks!” to Liz Sevcik and everyone else who helped make this event possible- It was a ton of fun for great causes!

High School Principal Nick Wemhoff was on the winning team, "We're Just Guessing", with the theme from the game, "Guess Who". They graciously donated their winnings back to the Foundation & FCYSO.

The second place team, "Quizness in the Front, Party in the Back" sported some pretty hot mullets at Trivia Night. They graciously donated their winnings back to the Foundation and FCYSO.

Take a look at these fun teams!
