The purpose of the FCCSF Benevolence Fund is to ensure that Fort Calhoun students and families have their basic needs met on a daily basis.  

The Foundation believes that all students have the right to learn without being concerned about their basic needs. Money available through this fund can be used to purchase items such as food, clothes, shoes, coats, winter hats and gloves, basic school supplies, hygiene products, or anything else that a school Principal believes a student requires to have their basic needs met and be in the best place possible to learn.

Award requests to the Benevolence Fund will be initiated by the Building Principals and processed and approved in cooperation with the Foundation Executive Director for amounts less than $100. Larger requests must be approved by the Executive Board of the Foundation. All disbursements will be accounted for and reported to the Foundation Board at regularly scheduled meetings.
