You’re going to want to get your hands on these unique items up for silent auction at the Hoedown!

The Fort Calhoun Community Schools Foundation has rounded up some amazing items for the Silent Auction held during the Throw Down at the Hoedown event. On Saturday April 30th, come to the Hoedown at the brand new Northern Lights Venue in Fort Calhoun for a night to remember! Enjoy BBQ prepared by the BBQ Competition contestants, enjoy the live music of Firm Offer, kick up your heels, and enjoy drinks from the cash bar. The silent auction bidding will last throughout the evening, and winners will be announced before the end of the Hoedown. All funds raised will benefit the Fort Calhoun Community Schools Foundation.

Here is the line-up of silent auction items:

Item 1: Get a load of this! This 7-foot hand-carved wooden muzzle loader replica will look amazing on your mantle. Kindly donated by John Christensen.

Item 2: One-of-a-kind set for those that like to game- Fort Calhoun Pioneers custom Cornhole Boards set handmade from remnants from the original FC High School gym floor. Crafted by students in the HS Wood Shop & detailed by Sunny Welchert. Includes a set of bags and a lot of history!

Item 3: Hang your boots here! Horseshoe boot rack skillfully crafted by Wyatt Appel.

Item 4: Round up some friends for a perfect hour hour! This custom basket is made from authentic cowboy roping rope, and holds a party in the making! Kindly donated by Kelli Shaner.

Item 5: It’s a ringer! Custom Fort Calhoun Pioneers horseshoes set. Kindly donated by Dr. J and detailed by Kloey Appel.
