Announcing the 2nd Annual Pioneer Homecoming Weekend!

We’re so excited to bring back all the fun festivities of Pioneer Homecoming Weekend! Last year was an amazing success, and we hope to bring even more Pioneer alumni, families, and community members together to celebrate! The Fort Calhoun Community Schools Foundation is sponsoring events throughout the weekend to bring alumni and the community together, while raising money to fund the Foundation’s mission. You won’t want to miss any of the festivities, so save the weekend of September 16-17 to celebrate all things Pioneer!

Start Friday evening off by supporting Skills USA & fill your bellies at the Skills USA Hog Roast. Then cheer on those Pioneers as they dominate against Central City! Catch up with fellow alumni at the 2nd Annual Pie ‘n Beers with Pioneers alumni event across from the stadium. Enjoy pizza and beers at this free 21+ alumni reception hosted by the Foundation.

Don’t party too late on Friday night, because you’ll want to be up early to be part of the 2nd Annual Pioneer Homecoming Golf Tournament held at River Wilds in Blair. Teams of four will compete for prizes and bragging rights, and proceeds benefit the amazing programs that the Foundation supports (scholarships, classroom grants, major projects, alumni events, student benevolence fund, before and after school care, summer camps, & the STEM Applied Sciences program).

The 2nd Annual Pioneer Fest is packed with all kinds of fun activities! Come have some lunch & enjoy watching the Husker game on the giant outdoor screen. There will be lots of fun activities for the kids to enjoy while adults watch the game, hang out in the beer garden, or participate in the 2nd Annual Pioneer Homecoming Cornhole Tournament.

If it’s been a hot minute since you graduated, a lot has changed at the Elementary School and High School the past several years! Make sure to take advantage of the school tours Saturday afternoon to see all the amazing additions and updates that have happened since you were a student. The schools look amazing and have really added a lot! Feel that Pioneer spirit & pride as you roam the hallways of your alma mater!
